A photo session is a collaboration. It takes time, trust, and a little coordination from both sides. We’ve gathered some of the questions you may have before booking, so you can feel comfortable knowing what to expect.

Who will be photographing us?

(Euyjoo) I’m the primary photographer behind We Were Here. My father sometimes joins me as a second photographer or videographer. He spent many years working in visual communication at Camp Humphreys, so the area and its community are familiar to us in a very personal way.

Where do you photograph?

We photograph around Camp Humphreys and Pyeongtaek, with locations chosen based on your family, the season, and the kind of photographs you want. We can also help you choose a location if you're not sure where to go.

Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely. If you have specific poses, shots, or a mood in mind, please share reference images with us before your session. We’ll work with the location and conditions to make them happen when possible.

Additional people or shots requiring extra time or equipment may involve an additional fee, and we’ll always prioritize a safe and comfortable experience.

What if my kids don't sit still?

That's part of being a kid. They naturally look around, follow their curiosity, move, explore, and take in everything around them. Rather than asking them to sit still and look at the camera, we give them room to move freely and photograph them as they are.

The result is often more natural, and more true to this season of your family. Some of the photographs we love most happen when nobody is looking at the camera.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Travel within Pyeongtaek is included in our packages.

For sessions outside Pyeongtaek, additional travel expenses may apply based on distance and travel time.

Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

All final images are delivered as digital files through a private online gallery.

Prints and albums can also be arranged by request within three months of your session. Additional costs vary by the number of images and format, so please contact us for a quote.
